- Geriatric Program: We realize our senior citizen pets have become valued members of the family. Because our pets are prone to age related diseases when they reach the later years of life, much the same as we are, it is particularly important that older pets receive a yearly geriatric examination with appropriate laboratory tests, EKG's, chest X-Rays, urinalysis, blood pressure, and fecal exams. This extensive work up allows us to detect the common age related disorders as early as possible, when we can still treat them effectively. Our program screens for heart disease, kidney and liver disorders, thyroid problems, diabetes, and many other disorders. We have packaged these tests together at a discounted price to help your valued companion receive the care needed to fully enjoy the upcoming years.
Brenner Animal Hospital was the third hospital in the state of Maryland to be accredited by the prestigious American Animal Hospital Association (AHAA).
